Your files stay on this device

Your files are processed locally in your browser. SurchargeCheck does not upload, store, or transmit invoice data.

The application is a static website. CSV parsing, column mapping, totals, heuristics, and report downloads all run in JavaScript in your browser tab using the File API. There is no application database, no user account, and no server-side file processing.

Closing the tab clears the in-memory audit. SurchargeCheck does not write invoice contents to localStorage, cookies, or a remote disk. Exporting a report creates a file on your computer through a local download.

Hosting a static site still involves ordinary web traffic: the browser requests HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from whatever host you opened. That is not invoice data. We do not claim encryption, certifications, or enterprise security reviews beyond this architecture.

Demo mode generates fictional shipments in JavaScript. It is labeled DEMO DATA and is not a customer dataset.
