About
A finished tool for shipping invoice review
SurchargeCheck is a browser-based shipping invoice audit product for finance and operations teams. Upload a CSV to take a first pass at carrier invoices: where the money went, which surcharge categories dominate, and which rows look unusual enough to review by hand.
Analysis runs in this browser. There is no application backend, user account, or server-side file processing. Your invoice data stays on this device — the file is not sent to a server.
What it does
CSV invoice analysis
Open a carrier or accounting CSV in the browser. Unfamiliar headers can be mapped before the audit runs.
Spend and surcharge KPIs
See total spend, surcharge spend, surcharge rate, and a category breakdown for the file you opened.
Review heuristics
Flag unusually high surcharge rates, expensive shipments, potential duplicates, and address-correction fees for human review.
Estimated review opportunity
A transparent heuristic for follow-up — not guaranteed savings, recovered money, or a finding that a carrier billed incorrectly.
Local export
Download an HTML audit report or a CSV of flagged transactions. Both files are generated on this device.
Built-in demo data
Try Demo Data loads generated sample shipments so you can see the product without using a real invoice.
Scope
SurchargeCheck reads CSV or text exports. It does not ingest Excel workbooks or PDF invoices, and it does not apply carrier contracts or account-specific rate cards.
Flags are heuristics for human review. Estimated review opportunity is an estimate, not guaranteed savings or recoverable charges. The product does not determine whether a carrier billed incorrectly.
There are no user accounts, saved audits, or scheduled monitoring. Closing the tab clears the in-memory audit. The live demo uses generated sample data, not customer results.
